In addition to most recently Executive Producing “Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes” for Netflix and “The Toolbox Killer” for Peacock, Mike Mathis Productions has produced myriad non-fiction series and specials for streamers and television networks including Oxygen, Animal Planet, TLC, ID, The Food Network, Lifetime Movie Network, OWN, HGTV, The Science Channel, The Travel Channel and National Geographic.


Mike Mathis Productions is the recipient of three Cine Golden Eagle Awards for Outstanding Non-Fiction Series and a Prism Award for Excellence in a Non-Fiction Television Series. Mike is the recipient of two National Television Academy Honors for Contributions to Emmy Award-Winning Programs. Mike began his career directing for the iconic NBC series “Unsolved Mysteries” and his work as a director has screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, The Montreal World Film Festival, and The Brooklyn Arts Council Film and Video Festival.
